This is a response to the Valentine's Day Challenge
 given by astronomylover and kind of myself. You kids have a little more than two weeks to get it in before the cut-off (Feb. 14 - fitting, no?) and so far only rose_sparrow has posted her response. C'mon! It's Briley. On Valentine's Day. How is that not fun?

Anyway, I'd say, given the circumstances, this is a pretty damn unconventional Valentine's Day. Considering it's being celebrated by zombie hunters. Oh yeah, they're back. XD

Seven pages last night to thirteen and a quarter now. Hahahahadamnit. I've had this thing planned since I was in the middle of my preggers!Reese story. Yeah. It's been festering in my mind for a very long time.

IF I GET ENCOURAGEMENT MAYBE I WILL SEQUEL IT. WHO KNOWS? CERTAINLY NOT ME.

So. I'm working on a seven-page awesome AU teenage Riley/Ben fic... and what do I end up typing? A short story about zombies. It's... crackalicious. Really - it makes no sense. I will be more than happy to explain my thought process to anyone asking. :D

So. Astronomylover and I spent six and a half hours talking on the phone last night/this morning. (I think we hung up around 2:30am my time?) And it wasn't all about Briley. Proof that we comm-people have more in common than an affinity for two straight-but-gay men being straight-but-gay together.

This one's for piratehatter. She drew me a picture; I wrote her a story. Hopefully, she likes it. (She liked the first page, so that's a good sign.) This was actually supposed to be up about... eleven and a half hours ago, but my internet was very unstable around that time and I was too tired to play with it. Sorry hon. :[

Here it is: the story that damn near ate up my life. Just ask astronomylover; whom I adore. We spent hours bouncing back ideas about this thing (fondly called "that damn preggers fic") until she helped me work out some kinks.

Title: Something To Be Thankful For (Prequel to Better Than This)

Summary: In which Thanksgiving is interrupted because Reese is pregnant.
Warnings: More gayness. And, there is pregnancy stuff discussed. (OH! Real fast: for anyone who does not know "dilating" refers to the widening of the cervix when a woman is getting ready to give birth. Ten centimeters means she's ready to deliver.)

Story time!

I was so off on my time line estimation, it's not even funny. There was a lot more I wanted to do with this story, plot wise, but I think I'll just write more one-shots. This can just be a little introduction into the Aliceverse. What's the popular consensus on that?
