In Riley's life, there were two important things. Caffeine, and his computer. But at the moment there was a problem with both of them. There was too much caffeine in him, and too little in the house, and most of what was left had found it's way onto his laptop. He was a very un-happy bunny. Flopping back down onto the couch, he sighed, and flicked on the television. He had *tried* to fix it himself, to no avail, and had probably made it worse. It would have to wait until 'The Next Working Week'. A loud noise suddenly emanated from the hall, and he shuffled over to the door. In his boxers, socks and one-handed drinking Pepsi-ness.
'Oh, uh, Ben, what r'ya doin?' Only his head poked around the door.
Ben looked a bit mused, but continued.
'Can I come in?'
Riley stepped out from behind the door, took a swig of Pepsi, and nodded. He nearly slipped on the laminate flooring, but made it safely to the couch, and Ben started to look around the room. It was nicely decorated.
'Riley, you ok? You seem...edgy' Ben's eyes shifted over to the young half naked techie hung over the couch like a wet towel. It was indeed true, he was acting weird whenever Ben came over or was around.
'I'm fine, just a little hyper, that's all.' He wished he could stop making excuses, making more lies to tell to himself.
'Well, I think you are a little liar. Because some little birdie-'
Riley cut in. 'Ben, I'm not five years old, you know. Say what you have to say.'
Ben cleared his throat, and continued. 'Abi told me you had feelings for me. It this true?'
His face said it all. Riley had shock and excitement written all over him, and the stutter put all the pieces together.
Ben straddled Riley's lap, and sealed his mouth with a reasurring kiss. After the initial shock, Riley opened up and became a lot more active. He could feel Ben's arousal on his thigh, and Ben leaned in and whispered in his ear.
'Happy Valentine's day, kid.'

Date: 2008-02-02 08:45 pm (UTC)See, as soon as I see a new movie or read a new book, I become totally engrossed in the fandom and have to research/read everything I can about it. And that lasts for about a week, unless I'm really lucky (which I am with NT), and then I get sucked into some other obsession. Oh the life of an over-active imagination.
I hope that clears things up. <3
