New and heres a Fic/Drabble

Hi I Just Joined and thought Id say hi and bring a Fic as a gift. Im a little nervous about it, seeing as its my first NT fic. Hope it turns out ok. and the only person whos read it is me. So if you see any mistakes please let me know^^>.

Title: Cut scene of sorts
Rating: PG (Maybe to high, who knows.)
Pairing: Onesided Ben/Riley (on Rileys part btw) and Ben/Abigail.
Summery: Well I got to wondering why Shaw said what he said at the Peir about Thomas Eddison, and this was the result.  So yeah have fun.( May add more to the summery when im less sleep deprived. and edit the story a bit...*shrugs* who knows.

“Riley, do you know how to get in touch with Ian?”

 

When Abigail Had asked him that, he officially deemed her insane. Why would they want to contact a man who had no problem in killing them? After hearing her explanation he had to admit it made a fair amount of sense. So he did as he was asked of and Contacted Ian, and after a fair amount of convincing on Abigail’s part Ian finally agreed to help.

 

So here they were coming up with a plan on how to “Release” Ben from FBI custody. This, for the two “Heroes”, was completely thrilling to be in the same room with Ian and his Team, ok so maybe that’s a bunch of horse rubbish, but hey Riley’s Sarcasm is contagious.

 

After much Debate, arguing and complaints, courtesy of Riley, they finally decided on a plan. Shaw would approach Ben while the others made it impossible for the FBI to gain any information. The only snag was getting Ben to agree and come with them. Which is were the Adorably Geeky Riley Poole, and the Inelegant Dr. Abigail Chase, came into the picture.

 

“We need a phrase, memory, name, word, anything that only one of you would know. So spill” Shaw commanded.

 

“Why?” Riley scoffed, “Afraid you’re not trust worthy enough?” One of these days his mouth was going to get him into trouble, but lucky for him these guys could take a joke. A Gun placed to his and the command for information was repeated. Then again he had been wrong about these guys before.

 

Riley and Abigail’s minds began to race trying to think of something besides the glasses. They had used that to catch Bens attention in the first place. What else was there left? Again Abigail ran everything through her mind. Coming up empty again

 

"Did you know that Thomas Edison tried and failed nearly 2,000 times to creat the light bulb. " He began his eyes gaining that distant look as he replayed the memory.

 

Abigail scoffed and couldn’t help herself from saying “yea”

 

"When asked he said "I didn’t fail I found 200 ways not to make a light bulb. I only needed to find the one way to make it work.” Riley continued as if he hadn’t heard her. He smiled fondly at the memory. Man he sure hoped this worked. He really didn’t want Ben going to prison, Even if he had warned the man this would happen. “That was something Ben told me around the time he decided to steal the declaration.”

 

“Boy did you guys find the one way” Abigail muttered under her breath. Riley rolled his eyes, but smiled nonetheless. Riley was glad she was insane because otherwise they would never had freed Ben, or found the Treasure, and even though Ben and Abigail are together Riley’s ok with that too because Ben’s Happy which was what matterd the most to Riley.
