But I have a guilty fondness for it.
So here it is :P

(Benjamin Gates walks down the street towards Riley’s apartment)

Ben:(sings)

I was half-convinced I’d found her

Happily I was mistaken

Does she think that she can have me?

(Ben pauses to knock on the door)

(Door opens on one Riley Poole. He looks sleepy and confused)

Riley:…Ben?

Ben: (places a finger on Riley’s lips) Shhh

(sings)

(Ben kisses a shocked Riley)

(Riley pulls back)

Riley: Wow…I guess Buffy’s off tonight, huh?

Ben:…who’s Buffy?

Riley: Geez. For someone so smart you have a lot to learn.

(Riley kisses Ben and pulls him inside)

(Door closes)

(Orchestra members get up from bushes in front of apartment building and return home)

They banned script style fics a few years ago. It did do away with a lot of lazy man's fics. But also did away with some of the more amusing parodies *shrugs*

HEHEHEHEHE! This was HILARIOUS! I can picture Ben *singing*...and that's a scary sight. lol But it was so cute, someone as serious as Ben practically hopping down the street, I'm sure, singing. :P But it was so cute, and nice touch with the line about the orchestra in the bushes. Ah, that made my day, thank you! ^_^

This is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO cracklicious.

In the best of ways, of course.

I'm surprised Ben didn't actually sing, "I'll steal you," since he's so good at stealing things (the declaration, ancient olmec artifacts, Riley's heart).

First off, he doesn't steal he borrows ;)

Secondly, I try to replace as many lyrics as possible so as too actually write and not just cut and paste, y'know?
