Drabble Attempt...

Alrighty. I have difficulty writing anything under 600 words, and
webbswoman inspired me with the recent drabbles to give the drabbling a shot. So, without further ado, the shortest thing I have ever written.

Not for the first time, Ben found that he couldn’t help watching his young roommate work. The techie’s blue eyes never strayed from the laptop’s screen, focused on some complex programming code. He chewed absently on his thumbnail for a moment before going back to typing, his long, thin fingers flying across the keys at an unbelievable speed. A triumphant grin flashed across his face and he ran a hand through his already-tousled chocolate brown hair, leaning back in his chair. He glanced up at Ben, his eyes sparkling and the historian felt a smile on his own face.
And, not for the first time, he wondered how he had gotten so lucky in love.
