Hello everyone! So, I've come back with another "Book of Secrets" deleted scene. Ben/Riley friendship, except it's a bit more bittersweet, and a bit more slash-ier. Hope you guys like it! Thanks so much for all of the reviews on my first fic, and I hope this one is just as liked! *blush*

SUMMARY: "Book of Secrets" deleted scene again. Ben/Riley friendship, slash if you read into things. Riley took a few hard falls on the second quest for fame and fortune, but as one treasure is found, is another one already lost? Physically hurt and mentally denying, Riley is surprised to find it is not Ben who is asking if he is alright. IS a Ben/Riley friendship, I promise, but focuses a lot on Riley at first. Bittersweet.

I love National Treasure... but I've only recently watched it with slash in mind. And honestly, is there anyone cuter than Riley?

I'll answer that: hell naw!

But, since I've only just started this fandom, I'm not going to write anything until I watch the movie a few more times to get a real feel for the characters (and look up random obscure historical facts for Ben)

First off, I'm new here, so... HI!  :-D I had an idea, and I wanted to share it with everyone to see what you guys thought!  I recently finished watching Indiana Jones for just about the 100th time, when I thought it would be a good idea to write a fic for NT based off it.  What do you all think?   Taking Indy, and modernizing it/molding it into a NT fic?

Notes I have this set in my own little world where Ben and Abigail never went out. It's after the first movie, not quite the second and Ben and Riley sort-of already have a relationship. Hey, it makes sense to me, thats all that matters.
