a challenge

Hey, I thought I would post a challenge and see what came of it.

I actually have two.

One is to write a Ben then Riley POV story to the scene where Ben and co go to his dad's house and his dad says something along the lines of "I had a job a wife and a son, what do you have? Him?" To me this just screamed that his dad knew they were together and either didn't approve or was having a hard time accepting it. Of course the Dad calls Riley "Kiddo" later so that tells me that by the end of the movie he had come to accept it.

My second challenge is:

Write a Riley then Ben POV about the last scene of the movie. Where Riley says that Ben got the girl and not to rub it in. His expression just screamed "I love you, Ben, why won't you notice" I would like to see the angst on Riley's part (maybe a little drunken stupor or something) and then Ben realizing exactly what Riley was implying and what exactly he's going to do about it, then breaking up with Abigail and running off to find our depressed like geek.

Hey guys, I'm new, I've been looking for Ben/Riley stuff so I'm glad I found this place. I'm not really a slash writer (sorry), I've never written fanfiction and I have this great fear that it'll turn into those crap pieces you see all the time. But I love reading the stuff, so I'll try not to lurk and respond.

Please don't throw stuff at the non-writer. :)
