I'm new (so hello, everyone! ;D) and in need of some help. I was sorting through some old bookmarks the other day when I happened to come across a Ben/Riley story, titled "A Hostage Situation", that I read half an eternity ago. Unfortunately the story is down. A shame, really. I loved that one. So does anyone know if it's archived somewhere else or has it saved on their HD and would be willing to send me a copy? :)

Have you tried the Wayback Machine? If you have the previous URL of the story, it might be able to retrieve the content.

The story was archived on fanfiction.net, so no luck with the Wayback Machine :/

Aww, that sucks. I don't know the story, and beyond the Wayback Machine I really don't know where you could find it.

This may seem completely random, coming a year later, but I actually wrote that story! (I was rose_sparrow at the time.) I took it down to transfer it to my fic journal and, almost immediately thereafter, lost everything on my computer in The Great Dell Crash of 08.

Would you be willing to send me the rar? I was really wanting to finish that sequel.
