Crack Challengefic: Welcome to the TARDIS!
Title: Welcome to the TARDIS!
Genre: Crossover with Doctor Who.
Characters/Pairings: Gen ; Ben, Riley, and the Doctor (Ten).
Rating: G
Summary: Ben and Riley are investigating some old relics in a cave that has been untouched for over a hundred years. Or, er, so they think. Probably shouldn't have tried the water.
"We're stuck in a cave."
"I'm aware."
"We're stuck. In a cave."
"Riley, what are you--"
"--Why's there a police phone box in a cave?"
"A what?"
Ben turned to see what it was that Riley was gawking at. This cave - home to a great deal of Native American artifacts - had been untouched for more than a hundred years; it was physically impossible for there to be a... a large, blue, 1950s British police phone box.
And yet, there it was, right in front of them.
"I think we must be hallucinating..."
"Probably, yeah. Um, Ben?"
"What?"
"The door's open."
"Then let's go inside."
As if they really had a choice. Ben wasn't about to just walk away from the mysterious hallucinated blue box, after all. It was there, or he thought it was there, and thus he was going to explore it, because what else was he going to do? Go back to looking at Native American relics and pretend that the phone box wasn't there?
The door creaked open, the sound ringing true to a fifty year old wooden box, but what it opened into was entirely different. Metal, huge open space... and a man.
A man who looked at them from behind a pair of thick-rimmed, certifiable-geek glasses, and raised an eyebrow. "Can I help you?" He was British. That was different.
"It's bigger on the inside..."
Riley was right. It was. And the man at the strange, round control center grinned.
"Welcome to the TARDIS!"

OMG, can you imagine Ben inside the TARDIS? He'd probably make the Doctor take him to all his favourite events in history. And the Doctor would be all, "Awww, signing of the Declaration of Independence? But that's booooooring."
