Good evening all!
Goodness gracious, first post! Well, what to say... My name is Bee (isn't that a cute little nickname?) and feel free to address me as such. I'm a pretty big National Treasure fan, if I do say so myself. I'm hoping with this new movie and the revival of the Briley (yes, that's the official name) fever, we should have even more lovely stories and art to enjoy. I'm actually in the middle of writing a little story, myself; perhaps I should give you wonderful people a preview?
Since you're wonderful, and everything. I have about two pages (exactly, as of this post) and it's still kicking. Trust me, that's a good sign. Depending on how inspired I am and how busy work/school (I'm in my last semester of my senior year at high school) is, I should have this kitten done within the next week. A little encouragement from a fellow fan or five never hurt either. :]
Cheers dollies!
...Before the door was even fully unlocked, a sharp cry of Papa! followed by the harsh clatter of something falling on the floor reached his ears through the thick wood. Interesting, Ben acknowledged as he pocketed the keys and nudged the door open with his foot, but not unusual for their eccentric family.
“What happened?” He asked in lieu of greeting when he reached the modest kitchen. Riley Poole, techie-turned-father extraordinaire, stood up from his hunched crouch on the floor with their giggling daughter in his arms. Ben regarded the upside-down face of the four-year-old with mild bemusement.
“Alice,” Riley indicated the wriggling little girl who was now flailing to be put down, “heard you coming and decided to stand up on the chair – which is something we do not do, young lady,” he addressed her sternly as he set her down on the floor, “and she fell.”

Thank you! :D
School should go okay; I just got my acceptance letter to my first-choice university as an English major so I'm pretty psyched about that. I just need to get through these next few months. Copious amounts of Briley should help with that. *fingers crossed*
Re: Thank you! :D
Yes, Briely always helps everyone. It's what makes the world go 'round, after all. =]
