National Treasure: Book of Secrets book review
The book was interesting. There were multiple scenes that were quite different from the movie. Several story lines varied as well.
For instance, the book added a Mason twist to the interest in the treasure. Also, Wilkinson was purely evil which made a lot more sense (If all he wanted was to get Ben interested in the treasure, all he had to do was show him the clues, right?).
On the other hand, there were scenes where Riley spoke up in support of Ben/Abigail and/or Ben COMPLETELY ignored Riley for Abigail.
As annoying as that flaw is, the book does supply several alternate scenes/ideas that would make for interesting fanfiction.
Including Riley hanging off a cliff…
OH! And a gun to his head at one point.
Fanfiction fodder indeed.
…now if I could just remember those fanfic ideas I had *muses*

Okay, so, you should totally not have told me that, because now I'm not going to be able to focus on writing fanfiction until I read the book. Ahh!

Drat! Now I have to wait longer for another chapter! And more fic! :P
Oh well. I'll write some.
